About me....

I am a life long dirt bike enthusiast.
Dad owned a Maico, Hodaka, Ossa, Puch dealership in Austin Texas when I was young.  I raced motocross on a 100cc Super Rat starting in 1971.

My next bike was a 73 Maico 400 radial.  I raced Maicos exclusively until '84 when the company began its demise.

During that time my family moved to Dallas.  I worked at various bike shops including Kimbrell Maico from '78 to '82.  During that time I had a level 1 Maico sponsorship, and was also studying Mechanical Engineering at the University of Texas at Arlington.

I graduated with a Mechanical Engineering degree and then got my Professional Engineer license, #62100 - State of Texas.  I am a 25 year member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers.

I transitioned into enduro riding and was later inducted into the Texas State Championship Enduro Circuit - Hall of Fame - winning the 250A class once and the 200A class 4 years.  As of today, there are 15 men inducted into the TSCEC HOF.  I also won the AA class in TSCEC and HPEC a few times.

I then began to race off-road, primarily in the Texas Cross Country Racing Assn, winning the Open Expert  and Over 38 Expert in various years.  I also finished the season 4th in the Pro Class one year and 2nd place in other classes along the way.
